Faithful readers,

I'm taking a little break from this blog. It's been truly therapeutic for several years, and I thank you all for your wonderful following and the priceless comments.

I've decided the next chapter in my life is going to be writing a book, which I'm well into at this point. I look forward to sharing it with you in whatever way is possible and hope you'll enjoy reading it despite many of the stories being vaguely familiar :)

Wish me luck and fun as I begin this adventure!

Good luck with the book, Nicole! I can't wait to read it. I was actually wondering a few days ago if you would ever turn the blog into a book.

Nicole - I am so happyy to read that you are writing a book - I've thought from the first blog that I read that you should turn this into a book. You have an extraordinary gift for storytelling and an extraordinary story that needs to be heard. God bless you in the next part of your journey. I will tell everyone to buy your book when it is available!

Tracy, you're so sweet to think and remember! Aiden's health has taken a nosedive in the past 9 months, so though I've finished the first and second drafts of the book, I haven't even taken it off the shelf to work on it since about February. I hope to get some time in the coming year!

Hello to Aiden's & his wonderful Family
Heartbreaking adventure, i too have a daughter who is 4yrs in a similar position, to date no diagnose. Rather than me going into too much detail. We are about to test for Dravet syndrome, have in ther interim weaned my daughter off Topomax and currently weaning off Eplim, non of these chemical drugs have ever help and trust me she been a littel Ginny pig since 6 months of age. Drugs have cause too many side effect - just not worth it! I wanted to asked how your son was doing on Steripentol, and if you have seen any improvement over last couple of years. Also if you ever tried a cooling vest to regulate boday temperature?

Not an easy position to be in and as parent we only want the best for our children. Do not give up hope where there is a will they is always a way, believe and trust in the man upstairs and know you are blessed in abundance.

Look forward to hearing back from you!
xoxo
